On a recent trip to Uganda and Rwanda where my non-profit had the opportunity to engage in several beautiful and inspiring community initiatives. This is one of the days that really captured me, and having the opportunity to spend time with kids who are passionate for knowledge was great to be a part of.

It’s nice to be validated as a photographer. It’s not something I expect or ask for, but when it happens it means a lot to me, my craft, my art and all the late night hours poured into the business side of things. Photography has also been incredibly important and personal to me over the years. It’s allowed me to become a better person
Gift to a friend.
My first wedding film was done as a gift to a childhood friend. I joked with her that it would get me out of bridesmaid duties and be cheaper than a gravy boat (neither of course true). But the truth is, it didn’t feel like I would simply be going to a wedding. It felt like a story, and I wanted to capture it.
